Gävlebocken is the goat that people like to burn down in Sweden.

It is in the town of Gävle, which is about a two hour drive north from Sweden’s capital, Stockholm. It is thus considered “the middle of nowhere” by many of the Stockholm-dwellers you’ll talk to.
